At the beginning of June, affected by the decline in power consumption, the amount of gas recovery decreased significantly, according to the company's instructions, steel mills adjusted their ideas in time, and took improving the calorific value of gas as the leading direction of gas recovery. By adjusting the parameters of gas recovery, the calorific value of gas can be completed above 1400 kcal, which laid a good foundation for the next step to complete the gas recovery work with quality and quantity.

Through the comprehensive improvement of equipment minor reform, pipe insulation, equipment operation parameter adjustment and so on, the steam recovery quantity of the steel mill has been greatly increased, and the steam recovery of 117.76kg/t was completed in April, which is the best record since the establishment of the plant. Through parameter adjustment of nitrogen consumption equipment and air source replacement, the average nitrogen consumption from January to June was 56.4m³/t, of which 45.24m³/t was completed in April, achieving the best level since the new steelmaking project was put into operation, and also an excellent indicator of nitrogen consumption in dry dust removal converter with the same tonnage.

Through continuous improvement of the level of standardized operation, timely introduction and revision of the process management system, the establishment of a process supervision team and daily supervision and inspection of the implementation of on-site process discipline, the quality pass rate of steel mills from January to June was 99.95%, an increase of 0.07% over last year. In view of the crack inspection defects of casting billet, the steelmaking plant has adopted comprehensive transformation and upgrading through in-depth research and independent innovation of the cooling system of continuous casting, such as changing the inner and outer arcs of each section of water strip from double drain nozzle to single drain nozzle, trying different types of water nozzle, adjusting the distribution of each section of water nozzle, reducing the secondary cooling intensity and optimizing the distribution of secondary cold water water in each section. Under the common progress of comprehensive measures such as further optimization of production organization and strict control of the overheat of the package, after two months of continuous tracking, the inspection cracks of the billet were greatly reduced, and the total number of monthly cracks was reduced month by month, realizing the essence control of the cracks of the billet, which played a very strong guarantee role in improving the quality and pulling speed of the billet and reducing potential quality risks.

Since the beginning of this year, the steelmaking company has adhered to the safety management policy of "safety first, prevention first and comprehensive management", always put safety work in the first place of all work, actively carried out safety training, hidden danger investigation, personnel behavior control and other basic safety management work, constantly improve the safety awareness of all staff, consolidate the safety foundation, and provide a strong foundation for safe production.
